Dino has been surrounded by design his entire life.
His first job was sweeping floors in a flower shop as a kid, then later in life he owned and ran his own flower shop before opening “Napoleon Cafe” in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia. There, within the beautifully appointed restaurant, he surrounded himself with impeccable antiques and artwork. At the same time, he was personally renovating house after house.
His focus then became renovating homes to live in, and over the last 25 years, he has refined his design aesthetic and his ability to follow through with incredible designs.
Michael started drawing houses and interior layouts at the age of six.
He grew up in a house where his mother would REarrange the furniture very often, sometimes in the middle of the night. He went on to become a professional singer and do theater in Europe and around the US for almost thirty years. In the midst of it all, in 1994, he opened the first upscale pet boutique in Philadelphia, “...and Toto, too!®”.
The store was his first major introduction to design and scale, and how to display and accentuate favorite objects. For the last ten years, he has been helping decorate and REdesign the different homes he has lived in with Dino.
